Frequently Asked Questions

Does a reverse cycle air conditioner use water?
Reverse cycle air conditioners are equipped with a water tank attached to the unit for cooling and dehumidification. This water drains out as the appliance runs through the cycle and manually emptying it out is not required.
Reverse cycle air conditioners efficiently cool the space in summers and provide cozy heating during winters. In heating mode, a valve in the heat pump reverses the direction of refrigerant flow to absorb heat from outside air.
Turn off the AC and gently detach the filter from its slot. Most air conditioning systems have washable filters which you can rinse under warm water and allow it to dry. If not, a vacuum cleaner with brush attachment can be used to remove dust.
For optimal performance and longevity, it is best to schedule a professional service once every year to stay ahead of any problems or major repairs in the future.
If there is heavy water leak from the air conditioning system, it indicates that there is a problem from the condensate draining and requires immediate technical assistance.
